Smethwick
(and Hollybush) Medical Centre is a general medical partnership providing personal
medical services to our patients under an NHS contract. The contract to provide
these services is held with Oldbury and Smethwick Primary Care NHS Trust in the
name of Smethwick Pathfinder Healthcare Organisation (SPHO). SPHO is a legal joint
venture between the partners of Cape Hill and Smethwick Medical Centres formed
for the provision of personal medical services to their respective patients. Both
practices participate in this venture as independent medical partnerships.
